Karen Ober

D.V.M., Practice Owner

Dr. Ober is originally from Franklin, MA. She earned her A.S. in Medical Electronics Technology from the Franklin Institute of Boston and her B.S. in Business Management from Bryant College. Prior to attending veterinary school, Dr. Ober worked as an EMT and as a training manager for a medical device manufacturer. She then attended and received her veterinary degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Ober has been with Sutton Animal Hospital for over 18 years.
Dr. Ober lives with her husband, a blacksmith, three horses, and one dog. One son attends U Mass, and the youngest is in his first year at the Coast Guard Academy. When she is not working, Dr. Ober enjoys camping, hiking, driving her pony and participating in scouting activities with her sons.

Brandi Golden

D.V.M., Associate

Dr. Golden is originally from the Midwest, where she earned her B.S. in Animal Sciences from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. She then proceeded to the University of Minnesota and earned her DVM in 2009, after which she moved to Massachusetts. Dr. Golden joined our practice in November of 2009, and resides in Rhode Island.

When she is not working, Dr. Golden enjoys spending her time outdoors: hiking, fishing, crabbing, and playing soccer. She also enjoys spending time with her family, their five cats,and Dottie, the naughty beagle pictured at left.
